Lenders and credit unions: When you submit a credit application, we share your information with banks and credit unions in our lender network (such as Navy Federal, PenFed, RBFCU, UFCU, Velocity Credit Union, Capital One Auto Navigator, and LightStream) so they can evaluate your application. Each lender has its own privacy policy.
Vehicle history and inspection providers: We use services such as CARFAX and AutoCheck to provide vehicle history reports.
Government agencies: the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, your home state DMV, and tax authorities, as required for titling, registration, and tax payment.

5. Financing: Soft Credit Pulls and Hard Credit Pulls

When you start a pre-qualification on our website, our financing provider may perform a soft credit pull, which does not affect your credit score. If you proceed with a full credit application and we submit it to lenders for final approval, a hard credit inquiry may appear on your credit report. We will inform you before any hard pull is made.

Important: CarVin ATX does not offer In-House Financing or Buy-Here-Pay-Here. All financing is provided through independent lenders and credit unions. You are also welcome to bring your own outside financing.

6. Phone Calls and Text Messages (TCPA Consent)

By providing your phone number to CarVin ATX through a form, credit application, or by texting us, you agree that we and our authorized partners may contact you by phone, SMS, MMS, or autodialed/prerecorded messages at that number regarding your inquiry, your purchase, financing, service, and related offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of calls by asking the representative to remove you from our calling list. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
