From a single Dallas lot to four dealerships across three states
I came to the United States in 2013, after years of demanding logistics and operations work overseas. After four intense years rebuilding my life here, I decided to do something that mattered to me — open my own used car dealership.
In 2017, I co-founded 5 Stars Auto Sales in Dallas with a clear goal: change the bad reputation used car dealers have earned. We chose to keep our pricing fair instead of squeezing every dollar. We held the line on quality and transparency — and on the rare occasion we listed a salvage or total-loss vehicle, we always disclosed it openly in the description so customers knew exactly what they were buying. And we treated every customer with the honesty and responsibility they deserve.
Those two principles — honesty and integrity — carried us through every chapter of our growth. From Dallas, we expanded to Massachusetts (Best Car Best Deal), to Utah (ZamZam Cars), and finally to Texas in 2024 with CarVin ATX right here in Pflugerville.

Yes. Every vehicle in our inventory has a clean title and a full Carfax history report. Our standard practice is clean-title only. In the rare case we list a salvage or total-loss vehicle, it is always clearly disclosed in the listing description so you know exactly what you are buying before any decision is made.
How is your pricing different from other dealers?
The price you see on every CarVin ATX listing is the price you pay. No hidden fees. Out-of-state buyers add only $199 for documentation. Texas buyers see all applicable fees up front before signing.

Are CarVin ATX prices negotiable, or fixed?
Every CarVin ATX vehicle is listed at one transparent price — the same for every customer, and we keep the listing live until the car is sold. We source our inventory from franchise dealer auctions where the same vehicles are often priced $2,000–$3,000 higher than ours, and we deliberately keep our margin small to stay below typical Carfax History-Based Value and KBB retail value. The price you see online is the price we sell at — no haggling games, no hidden markup, no inflated MSRP to negotiate down from.
Why does CarVin ATX rely on Carfax for vehicle history?
Carfax is the only platform that gives us full visibility into the two details that matter most for a used car: number of previous owners and complete service-record history. Other vehicle-history providers (AutoCheck, NMVTIS reports, dealer auction reports) have limited access to dealer service-bay data, so they miss the granular maintenance picture. We include the full Carfax report on every listing so you can see exactly how the car was cared for before it reached our lot.
Can I bring a third-party mechanic to inspect a car before buying?
Yes — absolutely. We welcome any pre-purchase inspection (PPI) from any independent mechanic of your choice. Bring a friend, a trusted shop, or a mobile inspection service to our Pflugerville lot at any time during business hours. We do not block, delay, or restrict inspections in any way. Every vehicle we sell has already passed a Texas State Safety Inspection (required by Texas law for resale), but if you want an extra set of eyes on it, we encourage it.
Are all your used cars in excellent condition?
Honest answer: every car at CarVin ATX is hand-picked and prepared to the best condition we can deliver — but they are used vehicles, and condition depends on the previous owner count, how routine maintenance was handled, and how the prior owners cared for them. We disclose mileage, accident history, and service records on every listing so you can judge for yourself. Our goal is to bring each vehicle to the highest realistic standard for its age and price point, then let you decide if it meets your expectations. We always prefer one well-informed customer over one quick sale.
